How To Get A Plumdomain_7 License

Here's a video run-through on how to locate your Sibelius System ID and Activation ID inside your Avid account.

Sibelius 8 and higher:

If you purchased a boxed copy of Sibelius 8+, you will receive a download code printed on a card in your box that you need to redeem into your Avid Account or have been provided by email upon successful verification of your crossgrade or academic status.

If you purchased a download copy, your System ID and Activation ID can be found on your https://my.avid.com/products.

Sibelius 7+:

If you purchased a boxed copy of Sibelius 7+, your System ID and Activation ID are printed on an activation card in your box or have been provided by email upon successful verification of your crossgrade or academic status.

If you purchased a download copy, your System ID and Activation ID can be found on your https://my.avid.com/products.

Upgrading from Sibelius 6 (and earlier) to 7.1 or Sibelius 7.5:

When upgrading to Sibelius 7, you have activated your upgrade in https://my.avid.com/products. You can find your System ID and Activation ID in the https://my.avid.com/products.

Updating from Sibelius 7.0:

Your new System ID and Activation ID can be found by typing in your original Sibelius serial number here:

Updating from Sibelius 7.1 or Sibelius First 7.1.1:

If you are updating from Sibelius 7.1 or Sibelius First 7.1.1, you can find the IDs by running Avid License Control:

In Sibelius, go toFile > Help and click Deactivate
On Windows, you can runAvid License Control by going to the Start menu, All Programs, Avid, Avid Utilities
On Mac, go to /Applications/Ultitiles/Avid Utilities/License Control and run AvidLicenseControl

Once Avid License Control is open, have a look in the License Profile tab, where your Activation ID is displayed:

NOTE: From Sibelius 7.1.3, both the System ID and Activation ID of your copy of Sibelius are now displayed directly on the File > Help Backstage page, so you do not need to launch Avid License Control to find these important pieces of information.
